Youth March Break Camps

Our Youth March Break Camps offer Hockey Extreme’s best instruction, best system (DOC), and best methods to learn and grow your hockey skills. Each of our camps are specifically categorized by age and skill level to provide the most specified & best quality development for each and every player. We try to group friends together too.

Power Skating & Edge Work: This program develops a stronger, faster, and more confident skater. Players will learn how to improve their edges, balance, strength, and skating technique. At this camp we quickly evaluate the group and decide on the best areas to focus on with respect to skating. Areas of skating concentration can be forward stride, forward crossovers, forward tight turns, forward & backward acceleration, pivots, stopping, backward skating, backward acceleration, and backward escape or reverse pivot tight turns.

Super Stick Handling & Shooting: The players will gain the confidence to be creative with the puck to deke and evade opponents in the corners and open ice. In addition, shooting drills will help players develop a better shot by teaching them the proper techniques to improve their power, accuracy, and height control of their shot.
