Adult Co-Ed Power Skating
In this program you will become a stronger, faster, and more confident skater. You will learn how to properly skate using your edges to stop, skate forwards and backwards, add power turns and pivots, as well as forwards and backwards cross-overs. In addition, you’ll learn how the hockey stick plays a big part in your balance and skating speed. Drills will be broken down into simpler parts so you understand where corrections are needed to improve balance and technique for more speed.
Players will be divided into groups based on skill level.
Please Note: This is NOT a learn-to-skate program, so if you have never skated before or can barely skate then this program is not for you.

Ages: Adults 20-80
Skill Level: Low/Intermediate/High Recreation (Sundays) OR Recreational (Wednesdays)
Dates: Sundays from October 18 to December 13th OR Wednesdays from October 14 to December 23rd
Time: 8:15-9:15pm
Location: Cummer Arena (Sundays) OR McGregor Park Arena (Wednesdays)
Students: Maximum 16 (Sundays)
Individual Fee: Sundays $486.73 + HST = $585 OR Wednesdays $442.48 + HST = $500

Requirements
Water Bottle: Please bring your own water bottle with your name on it.
Jerseys: Please bing your own practice jersey.
Full Hockey Equipment: Please bring your own complete hockey equipment.
Safety Measures: Safety protocols are in place so we can operate all our programs safely for you. Self Symptom Screening in effect, so if you don’t feel well, please stay home for all of us - thank you.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be administered only if the government or the arena shuts down and we can no longer operate our programs. If you are sick or are unable to make the camp for any reason, there are no refunds (unless we can sell your spot).
