Adult Power Skating

In this program you will become a more confident, stronger, and faster skater. You will learn how to properly skate using your edges to stop, skate forwards and backwards, add power turns and pivots, followed by forwards and backwards cross-overs. In addition, you will learn how the hockey stick plays a big part in your balance and skating speed.

Drills will be broken down into simpler parts so you will understand where your corrections are needed to improve balance and technique for more speed. All players from Low Recreation to Intermediate to High Recreation players are welcome to join. Players will be divided into groups based on skill level.

Please Note: This is NOT a learn-to-skate program, so if you have never skated before or can barely skate, this program is not for you.
