Youth Power Skating (July-August)
At Hockey Extreme we take your game to the next level. We offer players of all ages & skill levels the opportunity of the Best Instruction, the Best System (D.O.C.) and the Best Methods to learn and grow your hockey skills. Each of our programs are specifically categorized by age and skill level to provide the most specified & best quality development for each and every player. We try to group friends together too.
Power Foundations (Ages 7-10): Power Foundations is designed to build strong skating habits at an early stage of development. This group focuses on balance, posture, edge control, and proper stride mechanics in a fun, structured environment. Athletes will work on forward skating, stopping, turning, backwards skating, crossovers, and transitions while improving confidence and overall efficiency on the ice. This group is ideal for younger players and developing skaters looking to establish a solid technical foundation that will support long-term growth and injury prevention.
Power Performance (Ages 11-15): Power Performance is built for athletes ready to take their skating to the next level. This group emphasizes speed generation, power stride efficiency, advanced edge work, and quick transitions at game pace. Skaters will be challenged with higher-tempo drills that develop acceleration, agility, and control under pressure. This group is ideal for competitive players who want to maximize their skating performance and translate power skating skills directly into game situations.
For both programs above, placement is based on ability as well as age.

Power Foundations (Ages 7-10): 5:15-6:15pm
Power Performance (Ages 11-15): 6:15-7:15pm
Location: Leaside Memorial Arena (1073 Millwood Road, Toronto)
Ratio: 5 players to 1 instructor
Cost:
Early Bird: $264.60 + HST (up to & including May 31) - $50 Savings
Limited Time: $289.60 + HST (June 1-June 30, inclusive) - $25 Savings
Regular Fee: $314.60 + HST (July 1 or later)
Requirements
Please note the following details before registering:
Water Bottle: Please bring your own water bottle with your name on it
Equipment: Please bring your own practice jersey
Refund Policy: Refunds will be administered only if the government or Leaside arena shuts down the arena and we can no longer operate our programs. If you are sick or are unable to make the camp there are no refunds unless we can sell your spot.
Nut-Free Zone: Peanut allergies are extremely common among children and can cause fatal or near-fatal reactions for those who are allergic. Please do not bring any products containing peanuts or tree nuts into the arena. Thank you for helping us keep our kids safe!
