Youth Summer Goaltending

Please note that Hockey Extreme’s Goalie Training at is operated by Direct Motion Goaltending (DMG).

Extreme goalie training is performed in the designated “Goalie Zone”. This exclusive section of the ice is specifically designed for our goalie development program. This fine-tuned goalie school is put together by DMG’s Director, Daniel Vella.

In the “Goalie Zone” the goalies will focus on proper save fundamentals, positioning, angles, stance, posture, rebound control, and recovery techniques. As well as, power skating techniques like C-cuts, T-pushes, Shuffles, Power Slides, Power Pushes, and much more. Senior goalie instructors and shooters will provide corrective feedback at each station using David Trombley’s trademark D.O.C. system. We want to make our goalies feel at home in the net! Goalies are paired by age/skill level.
